"Treading the Fine line between invasive awkwardness and cathartic genius"

The following is meant for those solo artists who would like to attain the Soul System technology to perform THEIR OWN MATERIAL. Please do no try to start another NFSR because to be honest with you, the world only needs one NFSR.

Obtain a guitar or bass guitar, but keep in mind these are only suggested instruments. If you would rather build your Soul System out of a clarinet or an accordian then more power to you. I would recommend that you not spend more $150-$200 on the instrument, in fact even less is better. Don't buy brand new instruments though unless you are completely insane, it's just not worth it.
Purchase a jog proof CD player, or even better an MP3 player. Like most things it is best to comparison shop for these. NFSR used the jog proof CD player for quite sometime before eventually upgrading to the MP3 player currently in use now. While both have their charms, the MP3 player is less likely to skip in the midst of your passionate musical prancings.
Take all of the pickups out as well as the pickguard, bridge, and strings (in no particular order) off of the guitar or bass. As far as other instrument you're on your own.
Next, get a router or chissel and dig out a space big enough for the cd player or MP3 player to go. This could take some time and patience so the cheaper the quality of wood the better.
Use adhesive velcro strips to hold the CD/MP3 player in place.
Now, get 1/8"male to 1/4"female cord, you can get these at Radio Shack or wherever. Put the 1/8" male end into the headphone or output jack and run the cable through the wiring canals or the guitar or bass. Now, stand on one leg and hum the theme song to Top Gun. Just kidding. Drill a hole big enough for the 1/4" female end to fit firmly into. Voila! This is the output jack from the cd player to the PA system.
Buy a sheet of plexiglass and cut it so as to make a cover for the CD player. Be sure to cut a hole so you can press the buttons and operate the CD player, simply screw and unscrew the pickguard to access the original kareoke CD of your music.
Decorate, go get a snack, strap the guitar on and assume ultra glamorous rock star poses in the bathroom mirror.
Finally, contact us at nofisoulrebellion@hotmail.com so we can tell you the official number of your Soul System. (i.e. Soul System 2, Soul System 78 and so on and so forth.) This step is MANDATORY. If you don't do it we may have grounds to sue or at least insult you a lot and we wouldn't want to have to do that.
GO FORTH AND SHARE YOUR MUSICAL VISION WITH THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!
